About i-Praise Internet Church

i-Praise Internet Church is a new concept of the traditional brick and mortar church many of us have attended previously.

Our office is located in Corona, CA but our Internet Church is where you can access the internet on your PC, laptop, tablet and Smart Phone.

Our beliefs are based on the Bible and centered on Jesus Christ.

Our mission is very simple: to lead people to honor and glorify Jesus Christ and have a personal one on one relationship with Him. That means we’re not about a building or some complicated religious system, but about helping people from all backgrounds discover the joy that comes from knowing and serving Jesus Christ.

We invite all people into our fellowship at i-Praise.org.

We are looking for "sinner's not saint's! We do not care and will not judge you about your past, your race, your religious belief's or no religious belief's. We don't care if you are straight or gay, short or tall. skinny or heavy like me. We don't care if you are the most upright person, or struggled in prison or jail. We don't care if you work on Wall Street, or work the "back streets."

Our goal and prayer is to be like Jesus and He was not judgemental of the people around Him.

Jesus said about Judging Others:

Matthew 7:1-5 says, “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye."

We teach and try our best to walk out "The Great Commission" that Jesus taught before he ascended to Heaven.

The Great Commission

Matthew 28:16-20 says

¹⁶ Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. ¹⁷ When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. ¹⁸ Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. ¹⁹ Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, ²⁰ and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

We invite you to come and check out our website on a regular basis. We hope and pray that for those of you that do not like attending a traditional church, we will become your new internet church home.

We know that going to a new church can be intimidating, so we try to do things in a way where you’ll feel welcome and not like an outsider. We hope you will send us your information and a little bit about yourself and what you would like to see from i-Praise.org.

When you come into our internet church, you can participate or just sit back and observe. Our prayer is that you will discover a warm atmosphere, practical teaching from God's Word and lots of friendly people pursuing God together while sitting in our pajamas's!

God made a promise in the Bible that if we seek after Him, we’ll find Him. You are a valued part of God’s creation and His deep desire is to be in a relationship with you. So come and join us as we pursue God together!

Faith

Faith is something we all have in something.

The Bible says in Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”

When people ask me to explain Faith to them, I ask them if they can first explain how their cell phone works to me. From the time they push the button's on the plastic screen to the time the person on the other end receives the call, text, email, photo, or whatever else we use our cell phone for. Exactly, step by step, how does it work? The majority of society cannot explain how their cell phone works BUT they have faith that when the call, text, email or send a phone, the person on the other end will receive it. They have FAITH without knowing all the FACTS.

Family

I am not a Pastor, Minister, Seminar Graduate and I have no formal religious training. I am trying to be a good follower of Jesus and be a good Disciple of His Teachings and The Word.

At i-Praise Internet Church we value the family and we believe church should be a place for people of all ages. In the future, our prayer is to try to provide children programs where they can go and read Bible stories and stories of kids doing great things in their communities.

Our prayer is that as we grow our internet church, we will provide an age-appropriate environment for kids to encounter Christ.

Leadership

i-Praise Internet Church is currently guided by a leadership team of one, Bob Maxwell, who provide overall direction and will watch over the spiritual needs of our community.

We are currently searching for other volunteer disciple's of Jesus that would like to join our team. We want to include people from all walks of life and life experiences.

We will access pastors from brick and mortar churches to provide sound, practical, biblical teaching each week on our "Sermons" page. They have received theological and pastoral training and are equipped to share God's love with our local community much better than what I can do. These are Pastor's have have known and followed for over 20 years.

i-Praise Internet Church will be Blessed to have a leadership team who are truly dedicated to Jesus Christ and accomplishing His will. We will not be a team of people with personal agenda's or doctrines. If it is not from the Bible, it will not be taught.
