We are a brand new community and we are just establishing our new website and internet content so please bare with us.
There are many people in our country that have had bad experiences with traditional church and religions. But, you do not have to attend a traditional church to have a deep relationship with the God who created you and me. This community is built for those people. We are not interested in people that think that have it all together, we are a community of sinners walking out this journey called "life" the best way we can.
This website is a vehicle to share and bring people together wherever internet is provided.
People that are confined to their homes due to legal problems, health problems, or maybe transportation problems can visit our community and together, we can walk closer to Jesus and share in His Compassion for His children.
John 1:10-13 says, "He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God—children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.
You are not too lost or too big of a sinner where Jesus would not want a relationship with you. You are His Prized Possession and there is nothing in this world that you could have done that would turn Jesus against you.
Saul (later Paul) was a person in the Bible that killed, beat and imprisoned Christians. That was his mission and job and he was very good at it. One day, on the way to Damascus to persecute more Christians, God sent a bright light that blinded Saul and knocked him off his horse.
Paul wrote in Galatians 1:13-14 (NIV) saying, "For you have heard of my previous way of life in Judaism, how intensely
I persecuted the church of God and tried to destroy it. I was advancing
in Judaism beyond many of my own age among my people and was extremely
zealous for the traditions of my fathers."
Saul accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior and Jesus changed his name to Paul. Paul stopped persecuting Christians and went on to write over half of the New Testament and helped start many churches before his death.
Even if your behavior is worse than Saul's was, Jesus still loves you and wants to have a personal relationship with you TODAY.
All we ask is for you to give us 6 months of your time and see how ,Jesus will changed your life for the better. At least once a week log on to our i-Praise.org website and read a few Blogs, listen to some music and maybe a message or two. Reflect on how you can be of service to someone in need and then ask how we can help you provide that service. "Pay it forward" as some say.
We would love to learn about your story. Please send your story in the "Contact Us" tab above so we can connect you to the I-Praise community.
