Bob Maxwell is the Founder and Senior Leader of i-Praise Internet Church.

Bob is a small business owner and not a Pastor, has no formal "religious training" or seminary education, but neither did the 12 Disciples of Jesus. They were business men, a tax collector, common fishermen, not educated church leaders or Biblical scholar's.

Matthew 10: 7-8 (NIV) says:

⁷ As you go, proclaim this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven has come near.’ ⁸ Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out the demons. Freely you have received, freely give.^.

i-Praise Internet Church is a dream Bob believes came from Jesus. Bob believes he receives many messages from God in the form of dreams and deep down feelings.

Bob says, "I am simply stepping out in Faith that this website will help bring Peace and Comfort to our country and God's people."

The Great Commission

Bob is a "prodigal son" who returned to church and a personal relationship with Jesus back in the mid-90's after leaving church and Jesus for over 20 years.

Bob owes his return to Jesus and his life to Rick Warren, Tom Hollady, and the wonderful people at Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, CA. "Without Rick and Tom's teachings of how to adapt the Words in the Bible to my everyday life and his teachings of acceptance of ALL God's Children, I don't believe I would be a Believer or possibly even be alive today.

At one point in Bob's life, he contemplated taking his own life to get away from the pain he was feeling.

The attributes that best describe Bob is his desire to give back to other's what Jesus has given to him, to give a hand up to those in need and to speak up for those people most Christian's do not want to have anything to do with. He has expressed a burning desire to lead an Ministry like i-Praise Ministry where biblical views are embraced and encouraged by ALL people, with members who care about the needs of those around them, who are non-judgemental of other's and want to connect others to the body of Christ Jesus.

Bob loves Christian and Country music and takes worship very seriously. Christian music has played a huge role in Bob's return to the Lord.

The brick and mortar church Bob belongs to is called The Rock of Anaheim. Our Senior Pastor's are Jerry and Kimberly Dirmann.

Music will play a huge role in the a new book Bob is writing called, "Jesus is Not a Genie" My Story - The Prodigal Son Returns .

Bob loves spending the first hours of his day focused on Bible study and connecting with Jesus.

Bob has been happily married for 7 Years to his wife, Vivian. Bob has 2 children Jeff and Sara from a previous marriage, and a Grand Daughter Emma that Bob and Vivian adore. Vivian is a great step mom to Jeff and Sara and a wonderful Gramma who Emma calls "V" since she was old enough to talk and so the name stuck.

Bob and Vivian have 4 furry children, 2 Quarter Horses, Flora and Ginger, a dog Shasha and cat named Kittie.

Vivian is a native of Orange County, CA. Vivian enjoys her family, animals, water in general and horseback riding. She volunteers for various charities such as the City of Orange/Police Department for their annual National Night Out, a CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) member for the City of Orange, as well as volunteering at NDR Therapeutic Riding in Norco, CA.

Through Compassion International, Vivian and Bob have been sponsoring Brett Carlo (who lives in Philippines) since he was 9 years old and is now 19 and taking accounting courses in college. Vivian also volunteers with Compassion International when there are live concert events in the Orange County and Inland Empire areas seeking sponsorship for kids in third world countries to have a better life and go to school. She also volunteers monthly with Better Way Anaheim, through her church Vineyard of Anaheim, where they cook and feed the homeless lunch at local park in exchange for a service (painting trash cans, pulling weeds, etc.), as well as information and services to better their circumstances..

At I-Praise Ministry, Vivian will be assisting in overseeing the Compassion Ministry, website as well as administration duties.
