We at i-Praise Internet Church LOVE Lauren Daigle. Her music and her outlook at life through the eyes of a young Christian women trying to navigate her success from Christian music stations to secular music stations across America.

We stand against those negative "Christians" and modern day Pharisees that have had negative comments about Lauren appearing on The Ellen Degeneres Show, her choice of a beautiful dress she wore at the American Music Awards and all the other negative comments made by several people in the Christian community.

I like the Message version below of a very familiar Bible verse, Matthew 7:1-5 NIV where Jesus is talking about you removing the spec of sawdust from your neighbor's eye when you have a plank in your own eye and Jesus calls them a hypocrite.

Matthew 7: 1-5 (MSG version)

“Don’t pick on people, jump on their failures, criticize their faults— unless, of course, you want the same treatment. That critical spirit has a way of boomeranging. It’s easy to see a smudge on your neighbor’s face and be oblivious to the ugly sneer on your own. Do you have the nerve to say, ‘Let me wash your face for you,’ when your own face is distorted by contempt? It’s this whole traveling road-show mentality all over again, playing a holier-than-thou part instead of just living your part. Wipe that ugly sneer off your own face, and you might be fit to offer a washcloth to your neighbor."

My fellow Christian brother's and sister's, don't you realize that your negative comments about Lauren associating with "openly gay women" are pushing people away from wanting or having a personal relationship with Jesus.

We need to be out sharing the mercy and grace of Jesus to non-believers, not judgment.

What or who gives you the right to judge anyone you hypocrites! People like you with your holier-than-thou attitudes are the very people that pushed me away from church and God.

You have to stop talking about people's issues and sins and start focusing on sharing the Love and Compassion of Jesus. Only Jesus can change someone's heart so stop trying to play God.

I believe that Jesus was right next to Lauren saying, "good girl, I am proud of you, fight the good fight, stay the course, you are making an impact on Believer's and Non-Believers hearts and lives.!"

This is what Jesus said about judging other's in Luke 6:37-38 NIV

“Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

At i-Praise Internet Church we are open to share the love of Jesus to ALL people of ALL sexual orientations of ALL races of ALL religions and no religion, rich or poor, Wall Street and back streets, criminals and law abiding citizens, we are all God's Children.

Our #1 Commandment from Jesus is to Love the Lord our God with all our hearts, souls and minds and to Love one another, the lovable and unlovable. Amen

Big Jesus Hugs

Lauren Daigle

I keep fighting voices in my mind that say I’m not enough
Every single lie that tells me I will never measure up
Am I more than just the sum of every high and every low?
Remind me once again just who I am, because I need to know (ooh oh)

You say I am loved when I can’t feel a thing
You say I am strong when I think I am weak
You say I am held when I am falling short
When I don’t belong, oh You say that I am Yours
And I believe (I), oh I believe (I)
What You say of me (I)
I believe

The only thing that matters now is everything You think of me
In You I find my worth, in You I find my identity, (ooh oh)

You say I am loved when I can’t feel a thing
You say I am strong when I think I am weak
And You say I am held when I am falling short
When I don’t belong, oh You say that I am Yours
And I believe (I), oh I believe (I)
What You say of me (I)
Oh, I believe

Taking all I have and now I'm laying it at Your feet
You have every failure God, and You'll have every victory, (ooh oh)

You say I am loved when I can’t feel a thing
You say I am strong when I think I am weak
You say I am held when I am falling short
When I don’t belong, oh You say that I am Yours
And I believe (I), oh I believe (I)
What You say of me (I)
I believe

Oh I believe (I), yes I believe (I)
What You say of me (I)
Oh I believe (oh)

Thanks so much for this website. I was so saddened to see how the Christian world treated Lauren and it makes me feel helpless. But then I read something uplifting like this post and realize there is so much we can do by loving and coming alongside each other, the people we work with, our friends and family with open arms and hearts. It’s freeing to leave judgements behind and love like Jesus.

Sandy

Such an important message. We have to stop judging and learn to love as Jesus loves us. Just as we are. It is up to Him to change hearts, not us. We just need to be Jesus with skin on.

I enjoyed what I read and will be back to read more. Lauren writes beautiful music and should not be dealing with judgements of any kind. I've shared this site in messenger and through messages. Just press the 3 dots in top right corner and pick an option. Spread the word!
