BLOG 4.25.2019: Hope in America Today Through Faith

We’ve been praying for the families and friends of the victims of these senseless bombings in Sri Lanka of 3 churches and 5 hotels where 359 people reported dead and over 500 still injured from what I read at 9am this morning.

So my Message this week is Hope in America Today Through Faith at i-Praise.org , but what about the Hope that the people in Sri Lanka needs right now. The only One Powerful enough to take in ALL the pain, suffering, hurt, anger, fear, loss, deep sadness, confusion and whatever else they might be feeling, and that is Jesus Christ.

If you know someone in Sri Lanka and can send a link to my first two Messages on Hope, my prayer is that it might touch some ones heart and soul, and give them some comfort and Peace.

We had really positive comments about the first Message on Easter, so thank you all again and please send comments about this Blog so I know how you feel. Be respectful and non-judgmental to everyone.

In this Blog I want to share a little of my upcoming Message that will be available this Friday 4.26.2019 on our i-Praise.org website . We, people of Faith, start our Sabbath on Friday evening after Sundown, some Saturday or others on Sunday traditionally in the USA, but Sabbath means “a day of rest and Worship.” You can do this whenever you have your day off. Maybe your day’s off are Tuesday and Thursday each week. Then pick one and that should become your Sabbath.

In the Message this week I talk about the difference between “surface hope”, and gut wrenching HOPE like the people in Sri Lanka are going through right now, or what about the father, here in America, that has 4 kids and his wife is pregnant so she cannot work and the father found out yesterday that his position has been terminated. He is out of work with maybe enough savings to last one month and then what? What about his insurance? Where can he find the HOPE he needs?

Rick Warren from Saddleback Church is quoted by Newmax.com from Rick’s bestselling book, “Purpose Driven Life,” "Without God, life has no purpose, and without purpose, life has no meaning. Without meaning, life has no significance or HOPE."

Romans 8:24-25: For in this hope we were saved (by Jesus). But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have? But if we hope for what we do not have yet, we wait for it patiently. This is Hope through Faith.

The only Person that is big enough, powerful enough, has the amount of compassion, has the ability to forgive and FORGET, that has felt your pain and more, who can help you through this tough season is Jesus. God in the Flesh.

Man, I know this is hard to get your head around but that is where Faith has to play into Hope.

Believe and Faith are very similar, so many times you will hear people refer to Christians as Believer’s. Because we have Faith in Jesus and Believe what He says through His Word in the Bible, then we can find HOPE in Jesus.

You can’t drink enough alcohol, do enough drugs, have enough paid sex (see I know what you are thinking hahaha), gamble enough, mis-behave enough to find the kind of HOPE you need right now! The only Hope you will need is added to your current mess is jail time and lawyer fees.

We going to talk about where to turn and what to do when you need HOPE.
